DUT Call 2023. Deadline to submit pre-proposals on 21/11/23

The Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership is an intergovernmental research and innovation programme addressing key challenges of urban transitions. With currently 67 partners from 28 countries, the DUT Partnership addresses the challenges which European cities face in their endeavour to become sustainable and enhance the quality of life for their citizens. The DUT Partnership also contributes substantially to the European Union Mission: Climate-neutral and Smart Cities Mission of Climate-neutral Cities, the European Green Deal, and the Urban Agenda for the EU.

The DUT partners jointly develop a European R&I strategy, implement joint calls and grants, and – with a strong participatory approach –  translate the results of the funded projects into practice. A major objective of this partnership is to engage and collaborate with the manifold urban stakeholders to share experience and expertise and co-create knowledge and good practices. In this way the DUT Partnership helps creating more inclusive, safe, resilient, climate-neutral and sustainable cities across Europe.

The DUT Call 2023 is divided in three main areas:

  • The Positive Energy Districts (PED) Transition Pathway aims at supporting urban energy transitions through innovative solutions for the planning, large-scale implementation and replicationof PEDs with the mission to have at least 100 PED by 2025.
  • The 15-minute City (15minC) Transition Pathway fosters sustainable urban mobility transitions by improving accessibility and connectivity, starting from the neighbourhood level.
  • The Circular Urban Economies (CUE) Transition Pathway aims to support the planning and design of inclusive urban spaces sustained by circular resource flows.

In the first stage, consortia are invited to submit pre-proposals with a deadline on 21 November 2023. More information about the call at: https://dutpartnership.eu/funding-opportunities/dut_call_2023/
